A Glance

Amalorpavam Lourds Academy, a school following CBSE curriculum is run by the registered “Amalorpavam Educational Welfare Society”. The foundation stone for the school has been laid by our visionary educationalist Kalvisemmal Shri. S.A. Lourdusamy, the Founder, Correspondent and Senior Principal of the institution, on 26th Jan, 2015. To begin with, the classes I to III started functioning from 07.06.2015 in the Infant Jesus Block with limited infrastructure and strength of just 302 students.

Foundation Stone laid for All Saints Campus

In the year 2018, catering to the multifaceted requirements of the students and with a dream of setting up an institution of international standards, it has been decided to establish and provide an enviable infrastructure for Amalorpavam Lourds Academy in an exclusive campus at Kombakkam in Puducherry. The foundation stone for the new building at Kombakkam has been laid on 22.08.2018 by our beloved Founder.

Inauguration of Amalorpavam Lourds Academy - ‘All Saints Campus’

On January 30, 2020, Amalorpavam Lourds Academy has been shifted to its independent space named ‘All Saints Campus’. The said campus has been blessed and inaugurated by His Eminence, Oswald Cardinal Gracious, Archbishop of Mumbai, President of the Catholic Bishops of India (CBCI) and Member of the Council of Cardinal Advisers, Vatican. The students have happily occupied their new classrooms at the All Saints Campus, Kombakkam on February 2, 2020.

Today the ‘All Saints Campus’ encompassing the Amalorpavam Lourds Academy at Kombakkam boasts extraordinary infrastructural facilities, making it highly conducive to learning and wholesome development of the students. The school upholds learner-centric traditional values, while adopting contemporary pedagogies. Every individual entering the school from diverse backgrounds will carry with him/her unique streaks of values, traditions, and cultures, inculcated with true educational values and skills for life.
